Wednesday Night – Mumbai → Bhimashankar
Late evening pickup from Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai
Board the bus from your designated pickup point in Mumbai (late evening). Settle into your comfortable seat and enjoy the overnight journey to Bhimashankar, the first Jyotirlinga on your pilgrimage. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours through the scenic Sahyadri hills. A night of restful travel awaits as you head towards the sacred hills of Bhimashankar.

Thursday – Bhimashankar Darshan & Drive to Nashik
Early morning arrival at Bhimashankar in the Sahyadri hills. Fresh up, proceed for the sacred darshan of the Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve holiest shrines of Lord Shiva. After the darshan, enjoy a delicious breakfast. Check out and drive to Nashik (approx. 4–5 hours). Check in to the hotel and rest. In the evening, visit the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, the source of the Godavari River, for a serene darshan. Dinner and overnight stay in Nashik.
Day 1 Pilgrimage Highlights

Later, explore the magnificent Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site with 34 rock-cut temples and monasteries. After the visit, proceed towards Nanded (approx. 6–7 hours) for a night halt. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Aundha Nagnath (approx. 2.5 hours) for the morning darshan of the Jyotirlinga, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Maharashtra. Continue the journey to Parli Vaijnath (approx. 2 hours) for the afternoon darshan at this ancient Jyotirlinga shrine. After the darshan, enjoy dinner and begin the overnight return journey to Mumbai.

- Aundha Nagnath Jyotirlinga: One of the oldest Shiva temples, believed to have been built by the Pandavas during their exile.

Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga – The Destroyer of Demons

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga – The Only Cave-Like Jyotirlinga

Parli Vaijnath is located in the Beed district and is another ancient Jyotirlinga. The temple is associated with the legend of a king named Vaijayanatha who worshipped Lord Shiva here. The temple’s sanctum houses a powerful Shiva linga and is known for its spiritual energy. Both Aundha Nagnath and Parli Vaijnath are revered as powerful centers of Shiva worship and attract thousands of devotees each year.
Helpful Information for Your Jyotirlinga Pilgrimage
Guests are advised to arrive at the designated pickup points at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended for temple visits, as some temples require walking and queuing for darshan. Carrying a water bottle, sunscreen, and a cap is advisable. Cameras and mobile phones may be restricted inside temple premises – please follow the temple rules. Darshan queues can be long during festive seasons; priority passes, if desired, can be arranged on the spot at an additional cost. The tour manager will assist with all temple visits, meal arrangements, and accommodation. Please carry a valid photo ID for hotel check-in purposes. The Ellora Caves have an entry fee which is not included in the package and must be paid directly.
