Day-wise Itinerary: Paro & Thimphu Cultural Escape (4N-5D)
Experience the spiritual heart of Bhutan with this 5-day tour. This package combines the ancient serenity of Paro with the unique, modern charm of its capital, Thimphu, offering a deep dive into the country’s rich Buddhist culture.
Day 1: Arrival in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport (PBH), one of the world’s most scenic airports. Our representative will meet you and transfer you to the capital city, Thimphu (approx. 1.5-hour drive). After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, we will explore Thimphu’s highlights. We’ll visit the gigantic Buddha Dordenma statue for a panoramic view of the valley, explore the impressive Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the government and the King’s office, and visit the National Memorial Chorten, a sacred site for locals. Day 3: Transfer to Paro & City Tour
After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Paro. Upon arrival, we will check into your hotel. The afternoon is dedicated to a tour of Paro’s historical sites, including the National Museum (Ta Dzong), a circular fortress that offers a beautiful view of the valley, and the iconic Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), a fine example of Bhutanese architecture. Day 4: Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) Hike
Today is the main highlight of the tour: a hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). This sacred site clings to a cliff face 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The hike takes about 5-6 hours round trip and is a deeply spiritual experience. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the local town. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5: Departure from Paro
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel. After checking out, you will be transferred to Paro International Airport (PBH) for your flight back to Mumbai, filled with memories of the stunning landscapes and rich culture of Bhutan.
