Day 1: Mumbai to Aurangabad – Heritage City
Welcome to the heritage tour! Our representative will pick you up from Mumbai airport, railway station, or your designated location. Drive to Aurangabad (approx. 6-7 hours), the city of world-famous UNESCO World Heritage sites. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Visit the stunning Bibi Ka Maqbara, often called the ‘Taj of the Deccan’, a beautiful mausoleum built by Aurangzeb’s son. Explore the local markets in the evening.

Visit the magnificent Ajanta Caves (approx. 2 hours drive), a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning Buddhist rock-cut cave paintings and sculptures dating back to the 2nd century BCE. Explore the intricately carved caves and admire the ancient artistry. Later, drive to Shirdi (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, visit the Sai Baba Temple for darshan and seek blessings. Experience the peaceful evening aarti.

Later, drive to Bhimashankar (approx. 4-5 hours), one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Nestled in the Western Ghats, the temple is surrounded by lush greenery and serene natural beauty. Upon arrival, visit the ancient Bhimashankar Temple for darshan of the Jyotirlinga. Explore the temple complex and the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary.

En route, visit the stunning Ellora Caves (UNESCO World Heritage site), famous for its magnificent rock-cut temples including the impressive Kailasa Temple. Upon arrival in Mumbai, our representative will drop you at the Mumbai Airport / Railway Station for your return journey.
