Day-wise Itinerary: Assam Heritage Escape (3N-4D)
Embark on a journey to the heart of Northeast India with our Assam Heritage Escape. This 4-day tour takes you through the cultural capital of Guwahati and into the wilderness of Kaziranga National Park, home to the magnificent one-horned rhinoceros.
Day 1: Mumbai to Guwahati & Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Guwahati airport from Mumbai. Our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in and a brief rest, we will proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, situated on Nilachal Hill, and the ancient Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Enjoy a serene river cruise on the Brahmaputra in the evening (optional). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati Full-Day Excursion
After breakfast, we will continue our exploration of Guwahati. Visit the Assam State Museum, showcasing the rich history and culture of the region, and the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, a cultural institution with a stunning display of Assamese heritage. Later, you can indulge in some local shopping for traditional Assamese silks and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 3: Guwahati to Kaziranga & Afternoon Safari
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 5-6 hours). Upon arrival, check into your jungle resort. In the afternoon, get ready for an exhilarating jeep safari into the Western range of the park, where you can spot the famous one-horned rhino, wild elephants, and various species of birds. Day 4: Morning Safari & Departure
Wake up early for a morning elephant safari (subject to availability) or another jeep safari into the Central range of the park, offering a different perspective of the wildlife. After the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and drive back to Guwahati airport for your onward journey to Mumbai, filled with unforgettable memories of Assam’s rich heritage.
