This itinerary takes you from the historic port city of Cochin through the sweeping tea estates of Munnar, the rich wildlife reserves of Thekkady, and finishes with an iconic overnight houseboat stay in the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey.
Day 1: Cochin to Munnar
Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport or railway station, our vehicle will meet you and start the scenic road drive toward the hills of Munnar. Along the route, enjoy views of vast hillsides, lush greenery, and scenic waterfalls like Cheeyappara and Valara. Arrive at Munnar, check into your hotel, and relax for the evening.

Day 2: Munnar Local Sightseeing

Visit scenic points including Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake, and discover the wildlife habitat of Eravikulam National Park, home to the Nilgiri Tahr.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady

In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Periyar Lake to watch animals near the water’s edge, followed by a walk through local spice markets in the evening.

Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat
After breakfast, travel down from the highlands to Alleppey. Board a traditional private houseboat by noon. Spend the rest of your day cruising along the scenic backwaters, observing peaceful villages, vast paddy fields, and tall coconut groves while enjoying freshly prepared local meals on board.

Day 5: Cochin Airport Drop
Enjoy breakfast as your boat returns to the jetty. Check out from the houseboat and transfer back to Cochin. Depending on your departure time, enjoy brief heritage sightseeing around Fort Cochin, including the Chinese Fishing Nets, before dropping off at the airport or station for your return journey.
