Day 1: Mumbai to Malshej Ghat
Your trip begins with a morning pick-up from your location in Mumbai followed by a scenic drive up the Western Ghats to Malshej Ghat. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. In the afternoon, explore the surrounding mountain points, view cascading waterfalls along the highway, and visit Pimpalgaon Joga Dam, a popular site for birdwatching where migratory flamingos often gather. Enjoy a peaceful evening taking in the cool mountain climate.

Visit the historic Shivneri Fort, the birth site of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and explore its ancient gates, water reservoirs, and prayer halls. Later, visit the famous Ashtavinayak temples in the region: Ozar Vigneshwar Temple and Lenyadri Girijatmak Temple (located within rock-cut caves). Check into your hotel in Junnar for the night.
