Day 1: Arrival in Shillong & Umiam Lake
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport (GAU), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya. En route, make a stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, a sprawling reservoir offering stunning views and a perfect photo opportunity. Check into your hotel in Shillong and spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps exploring the local markets or simply relaxing.

Day 2: Shillong City Tour
After breakfast, delve into the beauty of Shillong. Visit Elephant Falls, a multi-tiered waterfall nestled amidst lush greenery. Head to Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the entire city and surrounding hills. Explore the rich cultural heritage at the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures and enjoy a peaceful stroll around Ward’s Lake, a charming artificial lake. The evening is free for personal activities or shopping at Police Bazaar.

Day 3: Shillong to Cherrapunji & Excursions
Today, we drive to Cherrapunji, famously known as Sohra and one of the wettest places on Earth. Witness the dramatic landscapes of the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint. Marvel at the majestic Seven Sisters Falls and the iconic Nohkalikai Falls, plunging from a great height. Explore the fascinating stalactite and stalagmite formations inside Arwah Cave or Mawsmai Cave (subject to accessibility and preference). Check into your hotel in Cherrapunji upon arrival.

Day 4: Living Root Bridge & Dawki Exploration
Experience one of Meghalaya’s natural wonders – the Living Root Bridges. Trek down to see the incredible man-made natural bridge (e.g., Single Decker Root Bridge, or for adventurous, the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Tyrna village). Later, proceed to Mawlynnong, recognized as Asia’s cleanest village. Discover its pristine beauty and unique tree houses. Conclude the day with a visit to Dawki, where you can enjoy boating on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River (seasonal and subject to water levels).

Day 5: Departure from Cherrapunji
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cherrapunji. You will be transferred back to Guwahati Airport (GAU) for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of your Meghalaya Nature Trail.
