This incredible journey takes you from the historic coastal entry of Cochin up into the mist-covered tea hills of Munnar, across to the spice plantations of Thekkady, through the peaceful backwater canals of Alleppey on a private houseboat, and down to the famous crescent beaches of Kovalam before your departure from Trivandrum.
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin and Drive to Munnar
Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport or railway station, our representative will meet you and assist with your boarding. Start your road travel up toward the Western Ghats to reach the hill station of Munnar. Along the mountain route, enjoy stops to view the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Once you arrive in Munnar, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening at your own pace.

After an early breakfast, travel down from the hills toward the coastal lowlands of Alleppey. Step on board a traditional private houseboat at the backwater jetty around midday. Spend your afternoon relaxing as the boat travels through narrow canals and wide lagoons, passing traditional villages and paddy fields. Freshly prepared local meals will be served on board as you cruise.

Day 5: Alleppey to Kovalam Beach Excursion
