2N BANDIPUR

Day 01: Bangalore - Bandipur National Park :- Morning our representative will meet you at your residence followed by drive to Bandipur National Park. En-route one can visit Srirangapatnam (Optional), famous for the Tipu Sultan's former capital. Srirangapatnam is a picturesque island in the Cauvery River. The biggest of the three islands in the River Cauvery, it is about 5 km long and 2 km wide.

Further visit to Mysore, later drive to Bandipur. On arrival, check in at the wildlife resort. Evening enjoy the pleasant surroundings. Overnight stay at resort.

Bandipur situates between the foothills of western ghat and nilgiri mountains. Upon arrival check in at wildlife resort. Rest of the day leisure to enjoy the calm serenity of the forest resort. Dinner and overnight stay at resort.

Day 02: Bandipur National Park :- Today we will wake a little early and get ready for our first Jungle experience to spot the wildlife. We will board safari van (open canter) to explore the Bandipur National Park.

Later return to the resort for fresh-n-up and breakfast. After breakfast it’s time to enjoy the serenity around the resort or one can participate in the various house activities. After lunch we will again get ready for wildlife exploration & birding within the periphery of the national park. This we will be on foot and will be doing a guided walk to explore its amazing wildlife. Later in the evening return to the resort. Evening enjoy the activities offered by the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at resort.

Bandipur was once a private hunting reserve for the Maharaja of the Kingdom of Mysore.

It has remarkable variety of flora and fauna. Bandipur is home to Leopard, Asiatic Wild Dogs, Stripped Hyenas, Jackals, Jungle Cats, Leopard Cats, Rusty Spotted Cats, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civets, Otters and four different species of Mongooses (the common stripe necked, brown and ruddy mongooses), Gaur, Sambar, Cheetal, Muntjac, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Four-Horn Antelope, Pangolin, Indian Porcupine, Fruit Bat, Spender Loris, Langur, Bonnet Macaque, Wild Pig, Black Saped Hare and variety of reptiles such as Rock Python, Cobra, Marsh Crocodile, Monitor Lizard, Rat Snake, Wolf Snake, Common Krait, Runel's Viper Bamboo Pit Viper and Green Keel Back are also found here.

Day 03: Bandipur - Bangalore :- Morning after breakfast we will visit Venugopalaswamy temple at Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta. It is a hill located at a height of 1450m and is extensively wooded. It is also the highest peak in the Bandipur National Park. The view from here is worth viewing. It lies in the core area of the Bandipur National Park and is frequented by wild life including elephants.

Return to the resort for fresh-n-up &breakfast. After breakfast leave for Bangalore.

  • No refund for un-utilized tour or cancellations which may occur due to weather conditions.
  • All SIC rates are based on minimum guests traveling. Change in the number of guests could lead to a change in the cost of the package.
  • Above rates are not applicable during event/peak season surcharge periods. The rates for these periods would be advised at the time of booking.
  • All packages are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Company.

  • In the event of non-availability of the quoted package, an alternate similar category hotel would be offered.
  • All above rates are based on special land combinational prices. No reduction or refund is applicable if one or all of the services are withdrawn.

  • The total amount of the Booking shall be paid by the client no later than 45 days prior to the date of travel. If the client fails to pay the balance amount within this stipulated time of 45 days prior to the date of travel, then the booking shall be deemed to be cancelled and the entire Booking Amount shall be forfeited by our Company and the client shall not be entitled to any refund of the same.
  • Hotel Check-In is at 1400/1500 Hrs and Check-Out is at 1100/1200 Hrs.

  • Debit/Credit Card Payment Will be Charged 2.5% Bank Charges Extra.

  • All special requests like early Check-In, smoking, non-smoking, views, floors, king, twin, adjoining and/or interconnecting rooms are strictly subject to availability upon arrival and same cannot be guaranteed prior.
  • The above quotation is based on specific airline and hotels. In case if the same are not available as specified above, alternate options will be suggested. The difference in cost if any is payable extra.
  • Rates not valid during Diwali, Christmas and New Year. Peak Season surcharges will apply.
  • Surcharges applicable during Conventions, Special Events and Trade fairs
  • Peak Season / Weekend Surcharges may be applicable at the time of confirmation.
  • Travel Insurance rates will vary as per age of Passengers. Senior Citizens will be charged extra.
  • Midnight Surcharge will be applicable for transfers between 2300 hrs to 0700 hrs.
  • All the above room/rooms are of the lowest base category of the hotel.
  • The above itinerary can be reversed without prior notice.
